Western Roller launches new web storefront

Western Roller Corporation has opened a new website that lets customers find the exact replacement roller, tire, hub, or belt their machine takes, without calling to describe the part first.

The site carries 2,709 parts and matches them to 528 machine models from 94 manufacturers. A customer who knows what they run can get to the right part in two clicks.

Finding a part by the machine it goes on

The Machine Finder asks for a brand and a model, then shows what fits. Behind it sit 5,948 fitment records built from Western Roller's own compatibility data, so the parts a customer sees are the parts their machine takes.

For anyone working from a competitor's catalog, the search accepts 568 cross-referenced part numbers. Type the number stamped on the old part and the Western Roller equivalent comes back.

Make and model are a guide rather than a guarantee, and the site says so plainly. Sizing charts are published alongside the parts, so bore, outside diameter, and width can be checked against the machine before anything is ordered.

Parts made to order, priced as they are built

Poly Tube and Composite rollers are cut for the customer, so there is no fixed list to browse. The site prices them as they are configured. Choose an outside diameter, an inside diameter, a hardness, and a length, and the price follows each choice.

Poly Tube alone runs to more than 200,000 combinations. Length is cut to the quarter inch, and the configurator refuses a size the shop cannot make rather than quietly rounding it.

Hardness is the color

Western Roller color-codes durometer, the industry standard for identifying a part across a shop floor. 50 duro is blue. 60 is green, 70 is red, and the site shows the color chip beside every hardness, so somebody holding a worn tire can match what is in their hand.

What happens after the cart

Shipping is quoted live from FedEx against the customer's own address and the cartons an order actually packs into, so the freight figure is a real rate rather than a guess.

Card payment is not enabled yet. Customers add parts to a cart, enter an address for a shipping quote, and submit the order for an invoice. Approved accounts can order on purchase-order terms. Online card checkout is planned for a later release.

The catalog on the site is the one the shop works from. It is updated from Western Roller's own inventory system rather than maintained separately, so what a customer sees reflects what the company actually makes.
