The Super Feed system
Buy the hub once, then replace the tires as they wear.
Super Feed is a cost-effective replacement system designed for power feeders used throughout the woodworking industry. Available as complete hub and tire assemblies, replacement hubs, or replacement tires, Super Feed gives customers the flexibility to purchase only the components they need while reducing long-term operating costs.
The system is built around a reusable hub design. Purchase the hub once, then simply replace worn tires as needed. Customers who already own Western Roller Super Feed hubs can quickly install replacement tires without purchasing a complete assembly, minimizing downtime and reducing maintenance expenses.
Which hardness?
At Western Roller the hardness is the color — an industrial standard, so you can identify a tire on the feeder from across the shop.
50 duro Blue tires provide the highest level of grip and are ideal for challenging feeding applications involving slick, laminated, melamine, prefinished, or UV-coated materials where maximum traction is required.
60 duro Green tires offer increased traction compared to standard feed wheels while maintaining a good balance of grip and wear resistance. They are an excellent choice for shops seeking additional feeding performance without sacrificing excessive tire life.
70 duro Yellow tires are the most popular option and provide the best overall balance of traction, durability, and service life. Ideal for standard hardwood, softwood, and sheet goods applications, 70 duro delivers excellent performance across a wide range of power feeder operations and is the preferred choice for most customers.
Whether you're replacing worn feed wheels, upgrading feeding performance, or building a custom machine, Super Feed Tires, Hubs, and Assemblies provide a proven, economical solution for improved traction, reduced downtime, and long-lasting performance.
